SMSF Update, Pension drawdown relief for the 2010-2011 financial year:
We can confirm the minimum pension drawdown is being extended for the year 2010-2011 year this will remain at 50% of the minimum pension payment requirement, thus continuing the same reduction as the past two financial years. Please click here to see the media release.

Our commentary on this, is that Self Managed Super Funds received generally a very big tick. Keep in mind that these recommendations are just that and have a long way to go before they become law.
